The article aims to present the results of study intercultural competence as a predictor effective interaction. mechanism by which this effect is achieved currently poorly understood. involved students from Russian universities (N=748) aged 18 25 years (M=20.09, SD= 1.73). 85% sample were women. following methods used: “Integrative questionnaire competence”, Scale intergroup anxiety U.The scales Attributive confidence and perceived predictability Self-assessment effectiveness cross-cultural communication was studies W.
